He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Claude Rector and Mary Essie Rector Jenkins; his wife Patricia Joan Rector; his brothers, Larry Joe Rector and Billy Frank Rector; and his grandsons, Silas Alden Yager and Tabor Cecil Lock.
He is survived by: his siblings, John Calvin Rector, Donna Sue May and Kathy Lucene Stein; and his children, Charles Lewis Rector, Jr. (Tricia), William John Rector (Becky), Seth O'Dell Yager (Casi) and Melissa Jo Lock (Tyler). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Living Waters Baptist Camp and mailed to Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church at 6161 S. Meridian, Wichita, KS 67217.
