Chester R. Kruse Obituary
In loving memory of Chester R. Kruse of Hepler, Kansas, who departed this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Chester leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Kruse and Josephine Kruse (Friedel); and his siblings, George Kruse, Bill Kruse and Fay Kruse.
He is survived by: his wife Judith; his daughters, Teresa Bird (David) of Missouri, Shelly Dillinger (Mike) of South Mound and Christie Stirton (Mark) of Lancaster; his granddaughters, Ashley Dillinger of South Mound and Heather LaRue (Garrett) of Chanute; his great grandchild Austin LaRue of Chanute; and his brother Charles Kruse of Hepler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home (518 W St John St, Girard, KS 66743).
Memorials are suggested to the Hepler Cemetery Road Repair Fund and these may be left at the visitation or mailed to the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
