She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Kieser and Marie Kieser (Truckenbrodt); her husband Max Wendell; and her brothers, Harald and Rainer Kieser.

She is survived by : her sons, Thomas Fechter of Herington and Marcus Fechter of Austin, TX; her granddaughter Julia Fechter (German) of Nuremburg; and her sister Ursel Loh (Friedrich) of Binzen, Germany..

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Homes – Herington Chapel (404 S Broadway St, Herington, KS 67449). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
