With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Polston of Herington, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Peter and Gladys Marie Stroda (Smith); her husband Lewis Edward Polston; her siblings, Max Stroda, Boyd Stroda, Clarence Stroda, Ethel Marie and Dorothy Ruth; her grandchildren-in-law, Daniel Wiens and Kristen Floyd; and her granddaughter Monica Catherine Polston.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Floyd (Lee) of Herington, Gordon Polston (Linda) of Herington, Kerry Haag (Dale), Michal Polston, Douglas Polston (Jacqueline) and Lori Walton (Tom); her grandchildren, LeAnn White (Jeff), Curtis Floyd, Ryan Floyd, Ashley Wiens, Jordon Polston (Mellissa), Alex Polston, Luke Polston, Mason Polston (Alaina), Colin Polston, Rheanne Walton and Braden Walton; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Stroda. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Phillip Catholic Church or St. Phillip Catholic Cemetery in care of the church.
