She is survived by: her son Evan Backhus (Tisha) of Russell, Kansas; her grandchildren, Mileah Backhus (Bryson Werth) and Camden Backhus; and her siblings, Cindy Biehler (Vince) of Herington, Carol Diekmann (Roger) of Herington, Mary Wylie (John) of White City, Don Platz (Wanda) of Delavan and Tina Platz (Kevin) of Guernsey Wyoming. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
