He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Wendt and Alice Wendt; his grandparents, Solomon, Emilie Sader, Ted and Irene Wendt; and his sister Glenda.

He is survived by : his wife Debbie Wendt (Schlesener) of Herington; his daughter Kendra Kuhlman; his son-in-law Les Kuhlman; his grandchildren, Keira Kuhlman and Quinn Kuhlman of Manhattan; and his siblings, Craig Wendt (Marcia) of Herington, Randy Wendt (Debbie) of Salina, Glenn Wendt (Berry) of Salina and Nancy Deason (Terry) of Wichita. He is also survived by many close friends and relatives.
