In the vast expanse of eternity, Carolyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carolyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Heald and Glenna Heald (Windhorst); her husband Leo Holmes; and her brother Rex. She is survived by: her children, Monte Holmes (Monica) of Goshen, IN, Marshall Holmes (Renee) of Hesston, Marita Jo Steckly (Brent) of Beaver Crossing, NE and Mitch Holmes (Michelle) of St John. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
