He is survived by : his wife Carol Asmussen; his sons, Kirk Walls of Hesston, Jess Walls of Durham, NC and Nick Walls (Lilia) of Hutchinson; his grandsons, Alex and Taylor; his stepgranddaughter Jelmy; and his siblings, Jim Walls of Kanab, UT, Robert Walls of College Station, TX, Mark Walls of Leon, Janice Nielsen of Council Grove, Jo Ann Hackler of Rosalia and Judy Walls of Eureka.
