He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Pete Reimer and Agatha Reimer; his wife Geraldine Louise Toews; and his sons, Timothy Reimer (Anita) of Wichita, Kansas, Mark Reimer (Hue) of Tequesta, Florida, Steven Reimer (Stephanie) of Crosby, Minnesota and Paul Reimer (Karla) of Seabeck, Washington.. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Tabor College or the Mennonite Central Committee.
