Era Lou Divelbiss Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2025, at the age of 82, Era Lou Divelbiss in Hesston, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, G. W. Davidson and Vivian Lou Davidson of Oklahoma City, OK.. She is survived by: her husband Ernest E. Divelbiss Jr. of Selma, AL; her sister Eunice "Gene" Brawner (Frank) of Stratford, OK; her children, Adam Divelbiss (Melissa) of Wappingers Falls, NY, Jennifer Middlebrooks (Steve) of Ohatchee, AL and Kirk Divelbiss (Jan) of Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Sarah Middlebrooks Kimbrel, Taylor Middlebrooks, Bobby Middlebrooks, Christian Divelbiss, Timothy Divelbiss, Sam Middlebrooks, David Middlebrooks, Jack Middlebrooks and Justin Divelbiss; and her great grandchild Malachi Kimbrel. She is also survived by many extended family members and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc. (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery.
