It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick L. A. Renken of Hesston, Kansas, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Minnie; his sisters, Bernice Schleis, Betty Shultz and Leona Becker; and his brothers-in-law, Wally Schleis, Don Freking, Lloyd Borchers and Robert Becker.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Michael and Renae; his siblings, Carol Freking, Lorraine Borchers and Rich Renken; and his grandchildren, Alex, Lily and Ronnie.
