He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Grady Bell and Ruby LaVerne Bell (Morris); his granddaughter Alexis Lane; and his friends, George Montgomery and Douglas Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki L DeVaughn-Lane. He is also survived by five children, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two bonus grandchildren.
