As Naomi departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Naomi. Though Naomi may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Unruh (Wedel) and Lincoln H. Unruh; her husband Orville Rutschman; her siblings, Viola Koehn, Esther Huebert and James Unruh; and her niece Darla Busenitz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller-Ott Funeral Home - Hesston P. O. (107 S Lancaster Ave, Hesston, KS 67062). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Garden Community Church Cemetery (6520 N Halstead Rd, Moundridge, KS 67107). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Garden Community Church (6520 N Halstead Rd, Moundridge, KS 67107).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) or the Hesston Area Senior Center, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, P.O. Box 32, Hesston, KS, 67062.
