He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hartman and Alice Hartman (Hartzler); his siblings, Eunice (Byler), John, Lucinda (McGrath), Dennis, Leonard, Janna Lou, Angela Mae and Warren Lee; and his son Nathan Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hartman (Troyer); his children, Treva Greaser (Leon), Alice Jantzen (Mark) and Luke Hartman (Staci); his grandchildren, Breanna Trueblood, Jordan Hartman, Sarina Thigpen (Hartman), Henry Jantzen, Sophia Hartman, Kristin Jantzen, John Jantzen and Sarah Hartman; and his great grandchildren, Kai Hartman and Kayce Thigpen.
