He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius "Kurt" Wiens and Marie Wiens (Schmidt); his former wife Arlene Wiens; and his sisters, Norma Hiebert and Verda Wedel.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Roth of Hesston; his children, Donna Oswald (Brad) of Gardner, Marla Wiens (Aaron Gragg) of Holton, Dale Wiens (Cynthia) of North Newton and James Wiens of Wichita; and his sister Leanna Laswell (Tom) of Newton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
