She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Corbet and Mabel Watkins Corbet; and her brothers, Veryn, Dallas, Dale, Murl, Arlan "Bud", Kenneth and Norman.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Thonen; her daughters, Sherry Ely (Alan) of Hiawatha and Sandy Bowen (Bob) of Hiawatha; her grandson Tyler Thieme of Topeka, KS; and her sister Edna Mae Futscher of Sun City, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Brown Country Historical Society or Zion Lutheran Church, which may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124.
