She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth C. Krug (Janis) of Horton, KS and Steven D. Krug (Celia) of Spearman, TX; her grandchildren, Kelly K. Chanay (Jeff) of Holton, KS and Kristopher C. Krug (Ashley) of Kansas City, MO; and her great grandchildren, Mason Chanay (Paige), Gwendolyn Krug and Charles Krug.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at the Valley View Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church or to "School Nutrition Association of Kansas" for the Esther Krug Scholarship both in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
