He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boeckman and Johanna Boeckman (Bokern); his wife Roselyn Koelzer; and his siblings, Beck Boeckman, Martha Hutfles, Bernice Smith, Helen Honeyman, Marcella Boeckman and Lester Boeckman.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Boeckman (Jenny), Julie Rieger (Jim), Connie Schroeder (Eric) and Jim Boeckman (Michelle); and his brother Ken Boeckman.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (124 S 7th St, Hiawatha, KS 66434). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (800 Kansas Ave, Hiawatha, KS 66434).
