With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Ann Smith of Hiawatha, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Elliott and Dena Rae Maxwell Elliott. She is survived by: her former husband Steven Werner; her husband Ken Smith; her children, Todd Werner (Judy) of Munford, TN, Michael Werner of Hiawatha and Sara Simmonds of Wisner, NE; her brothers, David Elliott, Ron Elliott of Omaha, NE and Mark Elliott of Las Vegas, NV; Stanton Lake. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Rose Hill Cemetery Up Keep Fund sent in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S 7th St., Hiawatha, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
