She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Philipp and Marjorie Philipp (Meidinger); her husband L. Rance Hixson; and her granddaughter Alli Faith Smith. She is survived by: her children, Pam Smith (Terry) of Hiawatha and Eric Hixson (Kerry) of Holdrege, Nebraska.; her grandchildren, Jena Meyer (Kelby), Cody (Trista), Ryker (Jordyn), Cassie Brader (Jared), Jared Hixson (Rebecca), Dillon Hixson (Hannah) and Haley Varney (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Kloie, Adalyn, Kolby Meyer, Easton, Lily, Ella Brader, Koe Hixson and Blake Varney; her brother Joe Philipp (Sue) of Lawrence; and her sister-in-law Janiece Spencer (Ken) of Hiawatha.
