He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spaight and Mary Halling Spaight; his former wife Mary Ellen Finney; his brother Harold (William Spaight); his stepson Clovis James Ranck; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Buzard, Michael Kussman and Paul Doring.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ann Gibbs; his stepchildren, Melvin Lee Ranck (Rosie) of Prosper, TX, Debra Sue Atland (Gene) of Hiawatha and David Wayne Ranck (Tamsen) of Brighton, CO; and his sisters, Mary Geneva Buzard of St. Henry, OH, Rita Rose Kussman of Marceline, MO and Carol Sue Doring of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by 17 step-grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
