It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Dougherty of Hiawatha, Kansas, born in Claremore, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Louis and Viola Lavera Dougherty (Money). He is survived by: his close friend Deb Field of Hiawatha; his children, Michael (Lisa) of Falls City, Branson (Trish) of Falls City, Marvin, Jr. of Falls City, Daniel of The Dalles, OR, Matthew of Everest, KS, Thomas of Wilton, NY, Christine Dougherty of St. Joseph, MO and Jessie Dougherty of Hiawatha; his sisters, Nancy Keller of Hiawatha and Mary K. Hayes of Falls City; and his half-brother Ron Creekpaum (Rosemary) of Chandler, AZ. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
