Though Morton may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Thomas and Ethel Mae Alfrey (Edie); his siblings, Shirley Walker of Horton, KS, Linda Bottom (Ralph) of Meriden, KS, Barbara Burroughs of Topeka, Debra Leach of Topeka and John Alfrey (Linda) of Highland, KS; his close friend Bobo; and his pet Bobo. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
