Sarah B. Knudson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah B. Knudson of Hiawatha, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah B. Knudson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Torkelson and Inga Torkelson (Larson); her husband Don Knudson; her son Douglas Alan Knudson; her siblings, Aurelia Fouts (Charles), Virginia Moots (Keith), Karen Leverentz and Charles Alfred Torkelson; and her brother-in-law Roger Baer.
She is survived by: her son Mark Edward Knudson (Marcia); her grandchildren, Tricia Ricklefs (Chris), Matthew Knudson, Michael Knudson (Paige) and Meredith Mueller (Matt); her great grandchildren, Carlie Clary, Brent Clary, Madison Mueller, Mason Mueller, Fenley Knudson and Archie Knudson; her sister Rita Baer; and her brother-in-law Paul Leverentz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1521 Prairie Rd, Everest, KS 66424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Sarah's honor are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple- Chaney Mortuary, 909 Central Ave, Horton, KS 66439.
