It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Kay Tollefson of Hiawatha, Kansas, born in Horton, Kansas, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Soyland and Cleo Soyland; her husband Kenneth Tollefson; her son Daniel; and also, Henry and Henrietta Tollefson of Horton, Kansas..
She is survived by : her daughter Laura Tollefson (Heidi) of Hiawatha; her daughter-in-law Susan Tollefson of Frisco; her grandchildren, Erin Oberschlake (David) of Prosper, Bradley Tollefson and Chase Tollefson of Frisco, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Zeva and Ty Oberschlake; and her brother-in-law Phillip Tollefson (Ingrid) of Wichita. She is also survived by her niece and nephews.
