Walter E. Scott Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 82, Walter E. Scott of Hiawatha, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Foster Scott and Willard Scott; and his siblings, Lee and Linda Rose. He is survived by: his wife Mary Edie of White Cloud; his son Jim; his grandchildren, Wyatt Torkelson, Logan Torkelson and David Keo Scott; and his siblings, Phil Fischer (Debbie) and Nancy Lippold (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (124 S 7th St, Hiawatha, KS 66434). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Olive Branch Cemetery.
