He was predeceased by: his brother John; his wife Joy Zacharisen; and his sons, Zach and Aaron. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Hayden, John, Alexis and Madi. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (302 W Main St, Highland, KS 66035). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (676 St Benedicts Rd, Bendena, KS 66008).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be donated to the Walnut Grove Cemetery or the Doniphan County Fire District #2 left in care of the funeral home, PO Box 33, Highland 66035.
