He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Ronald Huss and Gary Weis; and his aunt Mary Nuzum. He is survived by: his parents, Scott Huss of Highland and Melody Fields; his stepfather Brad Fields of Highland, KS; his siblings, Kirsten Mendez (Lorenzo Mendez) of Hiawatha, KS and Chase Fields of Highland, KS; his niece Lola Mendez; and his grandmothers, Laverte Weis of Highland, KS and Charlene Huss of Highland, KS. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (302 W Main St, Highland, KS 66035). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kolten Huss Memorial Fund left in care of the funeral home, po Box 33, Highland 66035.
