He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Scheer Jeffers; his grandparents, Lloyd, Verna Jeffers, George and Effie Scheer; his father Robert Lloyd Jeffers; and his sister Ruth (Stanley McCauley).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Benitz; his son Robert (Joni Jeffers); his grandchildren, Amanda Jeffers (Ramone Smith), Aaron Jeffers and Ashley Jeffers; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Jacob Jeffers, Isaiah Jeffers, Alivia, Zoey and Emmi Jeffers.
