He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C. Ewert and Caroline Ewert (Frick); his wife Geraldine (Kaiser); his sisters, Velna Ruth and Ethelyn Jantz (Ewert); his daughter-in-law Lynda Ewert; and his niece Darla Bair (Jantz).
He is survived by: his children, Dennis, Carolyn Wilson (Glen) and Glenn. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19-great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
