Eldon R. Pankratz Obituary
We bid farewell to Eldon R. Pankratz of Hillsboro, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Eldon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D. Pankratz and Olga Pankratz (Schmidt); his former wife Ardith Pankratz; and his sisters, Betty Ratzlaff and Joyce Bergen.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Pankratz (Dooz) of Wichita, Terry Pankratz (Kandis) of Hillsboro, Cindy Jantzen (Kevin) of Wichita and Kristie Diller (Phil) of Hesston; his stepchildren, Angela Heide (Keith) of Hutchinson, Merle Flaming (Michelle) of Marion and Steve Flaming (Kim) of Kansas City; and his sister Ruth Ann Penner of Hillsboro. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moundridge Funeral Home (115 Cole St, Moundridge, KS 67107). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Tabor Mennonite Church Cemetery (891 Chisholm Trail Rd, Newton, KS 67114). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Garden Community Church (6520 N Halstead Rd, Moundridge, KS 67107).
