He is survived by: his wife Michelle Kersten of Hillsboro; his sons, Travis Kersten of Columbia and Jonathan Kersten of St. Charles; his stepson Jordan Bezdek of Manhattan, KS; his daughter Amy Kersten of Hillsboro; his stepdaughter Toshia Widener of Hesston; and his siblings, John Kersten of St Louis, Dorothy Haws of Kennebunk and Vivian Jobst of Shakopee.
