We announce the death of Dean Allan Scott of Hoisington, Kansas, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 81. Dean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Scott and Pauline Scott (Hoskinson); his siblings, Ann Blanchard, Roy Scott, Billy Bob Scott and Kent Scott; his son Brian Scott; and his grandson Tre'Lewis Cherry.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Garman; his daughters, Deena Scott of Hoisington, KS and Roxann Moore (Shane) of Spearville, KS; his stepchildren, Angie Brown of Wichita, KS, Becci Pierce of Hoisington, KS, Nancy Garman of Wichita, KS and Gabe Garman (Trudi) of Covington, OK; his grandchildren, Devyn Moore, Logan Moore, Alexis Wiesner (Tyson), Taylor Crawford (Bailey), Alexander Brown, Sydney Crain (Danyl), Makenzie Marbut, Blake Garman and Adam Mannie; his great grandchildren, Jaxx, Maxx, Emersyn Wiesner, Greysen, Oakleigh Crawford, Adrian Brown, A'nyiah Crain, Adeline, Violet and Amiya Garman; his brother Jack Scott; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Scott and JoAnn Scott. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
