He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Donald Rupe and R. Lorraine Rupe; and his brother R. David Rupe. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Hickel; his children, Justin Rupe (Kristy) of Claflin and Tara K. Rupe of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, William and Dori Rupe; his brother Gary Rupe (Tina) of Clearwater; his nephews, Matthew and Jared Rupe; and his niece Jessica Rupe.
