George H. Rapp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George H. Rapp of Holcomb, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Phillip and Thelma Lu Rapp (Neuerburg); his sister Georgia "Stipp" Rapp; and his brother-in-law Mike Reed. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Rapp; his son William A. Rapp of Holcomb; his siblings, Sue Reed of Garden City and Jeff Rapp (Denise) of Garden City; and his siblings' children, Aaron Reed (Juliana) and Abigail Reed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Valley View Cemetery (2901 N 3rd St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Garden City-First United Methodist Church (1106 N Main St, Garden City, KS 67846).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to GCCC Endowment Assn "Rapp Family Nursing Scholarship" or to the Garden City Trap Club, Inc in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
