Charlene Rae Herbers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene Rae Herbers of Holton, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlene Rae Herbers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Eugene and Deloris Irene Reaser (Schmidt). She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. Herbers; her children, Jeff Herbers (Heather) of Holton, KS, Denise Peters (David) of Holton, KS and Doug Herbers (Breanna) of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, Sophie Herbers, Dani Peters, Dalton Peters, Eryn (Justen) and Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Holton High School Music Dept. or Jackson County 4-H c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
