He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Henry Amberg II and Courtenay Dolores Herpin; and his brother Jacob Henry Amberg III. He is survived by: his close friend Kristi Adams; his children, Sherry Kirkpatrick (David), Daniel S. Amberg, Jennifer Amberg (Marcus) and Stephanie Amberg-Brown (Omer); his niece Cathy Reineke; and his nephew Jack Amberg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
