David L. Ferrell Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of David L. Ferrell of Holton, Kansas. David, born on October 10, 1957, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude V. Ferrell and Esther L. Ferrell (Miller); and his siblings, Claudette Ferrell Blevins, Mary Louise Wyckoff and Clifford Ferrell.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Counter; his daughter Ellen Hutcheson (Mike); his siblings, Shirley Ferrell, Al Ferrell (Barb) and Bernard Ferrell (Sylvia); his sister-in-law Karen Ferrell; and his grandsons, Cooper, Brady and Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mercer Funeral Home - Holton (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
