She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey and MaryAnna Johanna Basel (Hoefler); and her siblings, Mae Elizabeth Basel, Rovida Colton, John, Jr., Anthony, Daniel, Arthur, Charles and Roy Basel.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Cox (Paula) of Topeka, KS, William Cox (Kathy) of Lawrence, KS, David Cox (Teuka) of Topeka, KS and Deborah D'Orvilliers (Sheldon Pokorney) of Lawrence, KS; her siblings, Lousie A. Bickford of Holton, KS, Evelyn Vincent (Bob) of Lyndon, KS, George Basel of Abilene, KS, Harlan Basel of Gainesville, FL and Walt Basel (Nancy) of Lincoln, NE; and her sisters-in-law, Evah Basel of DeSoto, KS, Dorothy Basel of Holton, KS and Marceil Basel of Arizona. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
