She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Adair Mick, Sr. and Hazel; her husband Gerald Edwin "Jerry" Taliaferro; and her siblings, Ruth Elizabeth Mick, Dennis Mick and Shawn Paul Leach.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Sides (Troy) of Holton, KS; her grandsons, Preston Sides (Aubree) of Kansas City, KS and Parker Sides of Kansas City, MO; her great grandchild Stassi; her stepson Jerry Taliaferro, Jr. (Dana) of Topeka, KS; her stepgrandson Rusty Taliaferro of Topeka, KS; and her brothers, Francis Mick (Kathy) of Derby, KS, Keith Mick (Kathy) of Horton, KS, Rowdy Mick (Marsha) of Fairview, KS and Dean A. Mick, Jr. (Amy) of Holton, KS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
