We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2025, at the age of 68, Gail A. Schmitz of Holton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hermesch and Constance Engelken Hermesch; and her brother Don Hermesch. She is survived by: her children, Mike Schmitz (Elizabeth) of Wichita, Shawnee of Wichita, Daniel Schmitz (Delaney) of Wichita, Andy Schmitz (Kyle) of Wichita, Chris Schmitz (Kayla) and Jennifer Graveman (Mike); and her siblings, Dean Hermesch (Denise), Joe Hermesch (Jennifer), Jerry Hermesch (Gail), Leo Hermesch (Jennifer), Leon Hermesch (Alice), Doug Hermesch (Marcia), Greg Hermesch (Tisha), Kim Kreher (Tom) of Smithton, IL, Pamela Hermesch, Shawnee and Christie Henry (Jason) of Glendale, MO. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren.
