He is survived by: his children, John H. Dowd (Donella) of Topeka, KS and Marsha R. Dowd of Holton, KS; his sister Sharon Singleton (Butch) of Blue Rapids, KS; and his grandchildren, Ciera Abdelmalek (Tadros), Breanna Pfannenstiel (Kyle), Emma Patterson (Kyle) and Libbie Lytle. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
