He was predeceased by : his parents, James L. Farmer and Katie G. Farmer (Shupe). He is survived by : his children, Michael James Farmer (Kendra) of Southlake, TX. and Kathy Laird (Mike) of Topeka, KS; his grandchildren, Travis Rieschick (Ashley), Jordan Farmer (Carolyn), Aaron Rieschick, Bailey Custable (Anthony) and Keaton Farmer; and his great grandchild Bennett Farmer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials go to either the Holton Christian Church or the Holton Hospital Health & Hospice.
