Marje A. Cochren Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marje A. Cochren of Holton, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marje A. Cochren to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Marion Riley and Doris Riley (Noble); her sisters, Judy Merriman and Nancy Goulet; and her brother-in-law William "Bill" Cochren.
She is survived by: her former husband William "Bill" Wayne Cochren; and her children, Luke Cochren (Carolyn) of Holton, KS, Kim Cochren Bethell (Doug) of Williamsburg, KS, Phil Cochren of Scottsdale, AZ and Joel Cochren (Christie) of Austin, TX.. She is also survived by spouses, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The lying in state will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Springhill Cemetery.
