With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Jay Karns of Holton, Kansas, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Karns (Coverdale) and Neil S. Karns; and his siblings, Dale E. Karns and Judy K. Almond. He is survived by: his former spouse Gale E. Slimmer; his wife Sharon Ann Wagenblast; his daughters, Sarah A. Karns of Topeka, KS and Carrie L Wise (Brian) of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Rebecca M Bowen (Jace) of Frankfort, KS and Daniel W. Karns of Auburn, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
