He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Walter Zibell and Nona Hilda Zibell (Dienst); his wife Phyllis Adair Tudor; his daughter Carrie Hildenbrand; and his sister Doris Jean Bradley.
He is survived by: his pet Brooster; his son Gary Zibell (Becky) of Holton; his son-in-law Greg Hildenbrand of Lawrence; his grandchildren, Kylie Boyd (Chris), Kurt Zibell (Shelby), Grace Demmon (Rick) and Reid Hildenbrand; and his great grandchildren, Madyn, Jayton, Addison, Zoey and Lily. He is also survived by his wife, daughter, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Holton VFW Post 1367 and sent to the care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
