We announce the death of Diana L. DeWulf of Horton, Kansas, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Diana will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Diana will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Diana will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Diana’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her sister Wilma Carlson; and her nephews, Brandon and Adam Carlson. She is survived by: her son Justin Ferney (Karen) of Horton; her sisters, Judy Torkelson (Tom) of Everest and Myra Lemon (Steve) of Horton; and her grandchildren, Brian and Justice Ferney of Horton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Diana DeWulf memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
