He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence B. Jacobs and Nora Mae Jacobs (Marshall); his wife Mary Cox; and his siblings, Donald Jacobs, Dale Jacobs, Martha Butterfield and Margaret Dodge.
He is survived by: his sisters, Etta Mae Matthias and Horton (Lila June Talbott); and his sister-in-law Margaret Jacobs of Muscotah, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
