Marlene Louise Jeannotte Obituary

Marlene Louise Jeannotte, born on March 9, 1934, passed away on October 2, 2026. Marlene leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Cadue and Irene McGosie Cadue; her son Larry James Jeannotte; and her siblings, Kelvin Cadue, Eunice Tucker, Maxine Hinkle, Phillip Cadue, Minnie Soldier, Norman Cadue and Gladys Hawley.

She is survived by: her husband Elmer "Buzz" Jeannotte; and her children, Jeffery Jeannotte (Arizona) of Phoenix and Amy Jeannotte of Winnebago. She is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dishon Maple-Chaney Mortuary (909 Central Ave, Horton, KS 66439). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (1320 1st Ave E, Horton, KS 66439). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kennekuk Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Muscotah Cancer group and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
