She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Mae McCord and Walter H. McCord; her siblings, Larry McCord and Donna Pfannenstiel; her husband Charles Merz (Chuck); and her great grandchild Josie Stuart.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Rehm (late Jack) and Charles McCord (Barbara); her son James Stuart (Colleen); her grandchildren, James Stuart (Jess), Geoffrey Irwin (Megan), Connor Irwin, Lyvia Allen (Houston), Jacob Stuart and Rebekah Stuart; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Jolene and Julia Stuart.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary (909 Central Ave, Horton, KS 66439). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Horton Cemetery.
